Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread cubes day-old bread works best
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or a mix of oregano, basil, and thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional, for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place the bread cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to do this in batches.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the croutons are golden brown and crispy.
  • If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese immediately after cooking for a cheesy twist.
