  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3/4 cup Butter melted and cooled
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 large Egg room temperature
  • 1 large Egg Yolk room temperature
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of baking soda. Set aside.
  • Step 3: In a large bowl, combine 3/4 cup of melted and cooled butter with 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Mix well, then add 1 tbsp of vanilla extract, 1 large egg, and 1 egg yolk. Beat until smooth.
  • Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Step 5: Fold in 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Step 6: Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Step 7: Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
