Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana chopped into small chunks
  • 1 cup blueberry yogurt or vanilla yogurt plus frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup spinach loosely packed, chopped, or kale leaves
  • 1 ripe avocado for creaminess
  • 1 cup almond milk adjust according to preference
  • 1 scoop protein powder optional, but recommended for an extra boost

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients! Chop the banana into small chunks and slice the avocado in half to remove the pit.
  • Add the frozen banana, yogurt, spinach or kale, avocado, and almond milk into the blender.
  • Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy. If it’s too thick, add a little more almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste your smoothie! If you’d like it sweeter, feel free to add a touch of honey or maple syrup. If using protein powder, add it now.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass or mason jar, and enjoy immediately while it’s fresh and vibrant!
