Ingredients

  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha adjust to taste
  • 2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

Mastering Bang Bang Chicken:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Chicken - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • Step 2: Season the Chicken - In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture over the chicken breasts.
  • Step 3: Bake the Chicken - Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through (165°F/75°C).
  • Step 4: Make the Bang Bang Sauce - In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey until smooth.
  • Step 5: Combine and Serve - Slice the chicken and drizzle with the Bang Bang sauce. Serve warm, garnished with scallions or sesame seeds if desired.
